Product Description
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation ProSoft CLX-PVX module bridges PROVOX networks to ControlLogix processors, allowing the latter to control PROVOX I/O devices. This module, consuming 675mA at 24VDC and 5mA at 5.1VDC with a maximum power dissipation of 20W, features auto-configuration to minimize errors by automatically detecting PROVOX network cards and I/O modules. It supports up to 64 I/O cards, transferring 250 input and 248 output words to the ControlLogix processor via a PROVOX network connection through its primary and secondary BNC connectors. Status is indicated via multi-color LEDs and a 4-character scrolling LCD. Operable from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, the CLX-PVX can be desktop or DIN rail mounted and offers multiple operating modes, including a monitor mode that uses live data for testing and verification without disrupting the existing system, reducing the risk of production downtime.
