It has 1.5 MB user memory, 208 KB I/O memory, and handles up to 128,000 I/O points (digital and analog). Requiring one slot in a 1756 chassis, it draws minimal power and dissipates little heat. Programming is flexible with relay ladder logic, structured text, function blocks, and SFC. It supports 250 controller connections, full redundancy, and RIUP. Integrated motion control is available via EtherNet/IP, SERCOS, and analog inputs. A slim power supply option reduces space.
