The ProSoft MVI56-S3964R module provides a Siemens 3964R network interface for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processors, enabling point-to-point communication with Siemens devices using the 3964R protocol. It features dual, independent RS-232/422 ports, performs BCC checksum verification, and integrates seamlessly into a ControlLogix chassis as an I/O module for fast data transfer via ladder logic. The module, which supports up to 512-byte data packets, includes example ladder programs, LED indicators, and acknowledgment telegrams for monitoring communication status, and ships with cables, an adapter, and a CD.
